What You’ll Experience

Marine Wildlife Encounters – Enjoy a front-row seat to Maine’s coastal wildlife. Spot harbor seals lounging on rocky islands, porpoises gliding through the waves, and a variety of seabirds, including bald eagles, ospreys, terns, and cormorants. Depending on the season, you may also glimpse ocean sunfish or jumping fish.

Iconic Lighthouse Views – See some of Maine’s most famous lighthouses from the water, including:

  • Portland Head Light - The most photographed lighthouse in Maine, standing at the entrance to Portland Harbor since 1791.
  • Spring Point Ledge Light - A classic sparkplug-style lighthouse guiding boats past the breakwater.
  • Bug Light (Portland Breakwater Light) - A uniquely Grecian-style lighthouse with breathtaking harbor views.
  • Ram Island Ledge Light - A towering stone lighthouse guarding the rugged ledges of Casco Bay.

We have special insights and stories being the inventors and authors of the Maine Lighthouse Trail.

Scenic Islands & Coastal Landmarks – Cruise past Peaks Island, Great Diamond Island, and Cushing Island, taking in their charming cottages, rugged cliffs, and hidden coves. Learn about Casco Bay’s fascinating history, from its military forts to its working waterfront.

Portland’s Bustling Harbor – Witness lobstermen hauling traps, ferries traveling to the islands, and sailboats gliding across the bay. Experience the authentic maritime culture of Maine’s busiest port city.

A Customizable Experience – Whether you want a relaxing cruise, a fast-paced adventure, or a mix of both, our knowledgeable captains will tailor the trip to match your interests. Consider extending your time on the water once underway, this can be done when our schedule allows. How about experiencing a perfect picnic on the water during your trip.
